Our Dogs

Our Dogs - John Brown [These notes were made in 1984:]. A gift from a friend of the family in the same set as Rab and his Friends, primarily of interest because of the publisher. The writing is plain and simple, and occasionally evocative, as in the former volume, but I do not find the subject matter particularly sympathetic - nothing more than a series of "character sketches" of dogs. Mildly reminiscent of some of Lamb's essays.
