Joy in the Morning

Joy in the Morning - P.G. Wodehouse [These notes were made in 1983:]. This must have been one of the last Jeeves stories that Wodehouse wrote, but I could not have told you what decade it was written in, so constant does Bertie Wooster's slightly deranged world remain. In this one, he battles the denizens of Steeple Bumpleigh, miscommunication, madness and misguidedness being, as always, the three great evils, and whimsical expression, as always, the greatest joy of the book.
