A collection of V.I. Warshawski stories, set at various points in her history, but that's not too jarring since she's firmly Chicago-based at all times. In fact, that (rather than details of plot or character) is actually the main impression that lingers from this and other Paretsky books - her enormous love of Chicago as a place.A good plane read.
