The Klingon Gambit
[These notes were made in 1983:]. Not a particularly distinguished addition to the ST canon, altho' it has all the basic elements - the terminology and the philosophy - more or less right. The danger comes not from the Klingons as such, but from the warmongers on each side. It breaks with ST convention somewhat by taking us into Klingon territory (where no man has ever gone before, strangely enough) and winds up satisfactorily enough, thanks to the indefatigable efforts of Kirk & Co.
